Biography
Stephen Scapelliti has represented and counseled small and mid-size businesses, suppliers to the transportation industry, healthcare providers, computer and communications technology, software development, charitable and social non-profits, political candidates and campaigns, manufacturer's representatives, intellectual property interests, and multinational manufacturers. He has co-founded and counseled non-profit organizations, their members, and their directors.
Stephen serves as outside counsel to the Jill Stein Campaign as the Green Party’s candidate for President of the United States.

Stephen has been a member of the State Bar of Michigan since 1983. He is admitted to practice before United States District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan, United States District Court, and before the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
He received his B.S. from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in Economics (1980) and his Juris Doctorate from Wayne State University (1983). He was a member of the Michigan Economics Society from 1978 to 1980, and a member of the American Bar Association Employee Benefits Committee and the Fiduciary Subcommittee of the Labor Section.
